Bio

Vincent Basilice, MD is an Ophthalmic physician and Entrepreneur and has been in private practice for over 40 years. Dr. Basilice received his Doctor of Medicine at St Louis University in 1975. After a year of training in Internal Medicine he went on to specialize in Ophthalmology, where he was selected as Chief Resident of the program. He received his undergraduate work at St. John’s University. Dr. Basilice is a well-respected Ophthalmic surgeon and is the Medical Director of a successful ophthalmology practice in New York, TOC Eye. Dr. Basilice has served the Local Community and been an active member of the Medical Staff at Mather and St Charle Hospital his entire career. The Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council awarded Dr Basilice the Theodore Roosevelt Award in 2015. He also was awarded the Humanitarian of The Year award during that same year. Dr. Basilice is married to his wife Dahna where they reside in St James, Greenport and North Palm Beach Florida. Together they spend a great deal of time and resources on charitable and animal philanthropic work.
